Red Velvet cake, per request.  Ben's signature cake since childhood.

It's quite the birthday month around here.  Yesterday we celebrated 37 years of Ben.  When I did the math I kind of squirmed.  It seems old.  Ben doesn't seem old.  37 does.

As Ben would die if I waxed eloquent about his virtues (which are many), I'll leave it at this: I love the guy.  He makes me laugh.  His heart is beyond good.  He takes care of us all.

He's a keeper even when he's cross-eyed and goofy.  Happy Birthday, m' love.
