Introducing: Old Bessy.
We can thank Grandma and Grandpa Carter for this fine specimen! We had our maiden voyage with her this weekend. What a trip.
She may look a little neglected from the photo, but, boy, can she ride! How could you not have a blast in an old motorhome? It's perfect because it's not too nice that you worry about it getting dirty or ruined and it's not too old that it isn't functional. Perfection--Old Bessy was just that! These are the makings of great family memories...cruisin' down the highway in the ol' RV.
The kids loved the ride, sans seatbelts, and explored every nook and cranny. Ben and I shared some much needed conversation and lots of laughs. Can you picture Ben, all manly behind the wheel, waving at people and giving a little toot with the horn, sporting a sheepish grin? It was hilarious!
Call us the Griswolds, because we certainly fit the part this weekend!
I'm really ready for a nap. My sleep was rudely interrupted ALL NIGHT LONG, due to a moose and his LOUD mating call. At least, that's what others were saying it was. The poor fella. I hope he can take care of that...soon:).
Good times. Now, it's back to reality. More fun to come, I hope . . .

How many can you fit in that thing? I sure hope it is roomy enough for 6 more people--we want to play!!
