Sunday evening was the cousin's Easter egg hunt/dinner. Talk about excitement--in the sunshine, BAREFOOT, brimming with anticipation. I know of no better combination:). We started out youngest to oldest, giving the little ones a head-start. It didn't last very long. Surprise, surprise...
Can you believe the color of that hair?
SCORE!
The nerds of the family:).
More nerds:).
(The injured...melanoma-removal and a banged-up knee.)
Annie and Tessa are connected at the hip. They are completely of the same temperament, as sweet as can be. If they were close to each other, they were holding hands. If you're an Anne of Green Gables fan, you'd call them bosom friends:).
The kids played with those Nerf swords, axes, shields, and daggers the ENTIRE night, into the darkness. I do not exaggerate when I say that we heard NOTHING from them for hours. Not even one accidental injury. The Resurrection wasn't the ONLY miracle celebrated on Easter:).
(Not quite sure that sword'll fit in that pocket, what do you think?)
A fantastic day to be sure.
