First time.

Some of you may know that TODAY is the anniversary of my first REAL kiss.

However, this day is NOW special for an additional reason.  Today is the day that three of my sweet kids (who weren't so sweet BEFORE church) bore their testimonies in Sacrament Meeting for the first time.  Will, Lincoln, and Annie.

It's ironic that the day they muster up the courage to take the LONG walk up front is the day I'm nursing Sam in the mother's room.  I could hear my kids' little voices through the speaker in the ceiling.  Side note: my kids sound so much more innocent when I can't see their faces.  They sound so little (duh, Lanette, they ARE little!)  At home they're SO animated, there's NOTHING little about ANYTHING they do:).

They went up at different times so it was like a little game to me.  I'd hear a voice and try to pinpoint who it was in the congregation.  Hearing my own little ones was quite a surprise.  A pleasant surprise.  And yet, I found myself silently praying that they wouldn't start laughing or freezing up or yelling, "POKEMON RULES!" or something like that!  Prayers ARE answered.  No fabulously embarassing moment for our family.  Just sweet little ones with their sweet simple testimonies about what they know to be true.  AMEN to that.
