Full . . .

There's nothing like full and busy weekend . . that you want to be full and busy.
Believe me, I was not dissappointed!

I love Independance Day and the accompanying festivities.  Late summer nights, BBQs, friends and family, fireworks, patriotic music (LOVE it),  red, white, and blue, more fireworks, sun, The Star-Spangled Banner, America the Beautiful, Freedom, God.  It's quite a goose-bumpy celebration with all the passion, courage, and honor that give the 4th of July real meaning.  So I offer a resounding, "God bless America!"  And I really mean it.  In my small way, my little sphere of influence, I'm fighting to preserve the spirit of our nation.  I love this country.

We celebrated the weekend away.  A patriotic concert at the college, day at the lake with music, fireworks, and a humongous flag held up by a bright red crane, parade (that Brigham and Will both participated in), BBQ with the fam, more fireworks, and I sang in a choir for a Celebration of Liberty program full of music, speakers, and a re-enactment of the Virginia  Second Convention. You know, Patrick Henry's "Give me liberty or give me death!" speech.  Inspiring, I loved it.

I begin this new week sleep-deprived.  But a little wiser, a little more grateful, a little more motivated, and a lot more inspired . . .

I was a great night, we were very anxious to see the fireworks, but we waited patiently and got a great show, it was totally worth it.!!!!!!
