Girl for life...

Annie said to me this morning, "When I grow up I'm going to be a boy a have a p****."  (Sorry for the abbrev, I could just imagine some sicko googling the "word" and linking to my blog.  Yikes.)  This is pretty much a daily conversation.  She smiles coyly, knowing that the answer will never change.  Girl for life, sorry kiddo. 

Now,  the funny part...

We're eating dinner at Mom and Dad's and I'm telling them what Annie said.  My mom says, without inhibition, "NO, Annie, you don't want that--they just get in the way."  We all choked, Dad's face turned red, and the boys continued eating unknowing their manhood had been slighted.  This is going to sound awful, but I love it when my parents go a little crass on me, ONLY because it never happens.  Way to go, Grandma.
