"Like sand through an hourglass, so go the days of our lives..."

How far do you think she'll go?

"Sir, yes, Sir"

I don't even know what to say about this kid anymore.

We have the coolest, random area of sand dunes right outside of town. The kids are thrilled to jump off the steep drops, landing safely and softly several feet below. They could dig a single hole all day long. Oh, and the bug...not my favorite discovery, especially when its within inches of my face...not fun.

We went with our friend, Shem, the soldier. I love this kid! The real helmet says it all. He is very much his own little soul and I can't get enough of him.

Lincoln found a treasure, too. Why does he always find the things we're not supposed to touch...or pull out of the ground? It's his surfboard, or so he says. I'm learning to count on him for my daily dose of innocent humor.
